I can retract soft and hard. I don’t have a smooth gliding motion yet but it’s been getting easier since I first retracted about 3 months ago.

When I retract the foreskin, it bunches up behind the glans. When it’s soft I can pull back a bit further but I can’t do the same thing when I’m hard.

I've heard pulling forward style frenulum stretches help. I haven’t had sex since I’ve been able to retract, is there any risk of tearing and stuff like that in my current state?

If you want to see some pictures check my profile.

I had short frenulum too. It pulled my head down any time when I,d retract the foreskin. I tried to stretch it during 3 years, without any results. Secondly, I wanted at open glans.
All without any results. Finally I made circumcised and it solve it all

Thanks for your replies. I'll see how the stretching goes. I'm hopeful because I've gone from not being able to retract to full retraction in about 12 months.

go ask your doctor to refer you to your surgeon again and see what he can do. surgeon's are gods pretty much and if he likes you he'll help you out

I never had surgery, I did stretches to go from phimosis to being where I'm at now. I don't see why I need surgery, I think I can do more stretches to get where I need to be.

I haven't had sex since I could retract so there maybe no need to even stretch if there's no pain or problems.

Anything I need to do will just take time. Hopefully I don't need to go under the knife and that that would be a last resort anyway.
