Depends on the situation. If it's a no strings hook up I don't think either of our pasts is relevant unless it's something that affects the present like having an std or something. But if there's any degree of getting to know each other involved then I think everybody being upfront is the right thing to do.

I have twice ... first time was called a fag and that was that but the second time I told a person that I’ve had sex with men she paused then asked if I was any good at giving head and did I like the taste of cum and if anal hurt.. ..I told her they all came so I guess I’m ok at it and I didn’t mind the taste. For anal only one time I experience a little pain as I was penetrated but it was my fault and you learn right away to slow down . She ended up asking me tons of questions that night and for the most part I think she was cool with it (we dated for a about a year) ... the one thing she did do a few times when we were out in the beginning that annoyed me was ask if I thought this guy or that guy was hot and would I do them..... finally one night sitting in a restaurant in the mid 90’s and I’m explaining what I liked and don’t like about men over a burger and shakes hoping that this question is answer once and for all...

Hit the nail on the head.

My experiences with dudes have all been cheating but I think if I ever split from my now wife, I’d probably tell the next woman up front that I’d like to have other guys in our relationship.

My girlfriend of 9 years knows i have had bi activity in my past. She is the only person who i have divulged my secrets. She had no big issues with it as she understands sexual desires are not black and white.

She totally embraced my loce of anal pleasure and has used toys and even fisted me to mind blowing orgasms.

I just wish I could be open with the fact I still crave big cocks, and want to service one now and again. My dream would be to have her join in with me!

Unfortunately for me I can't really keep it secret cause of my tattoo, I'd have to get it removed.

To the first question, yes. I don't really do spontaneous hookups anymore (I'm old and like to be comfortable, lol), so anyone I was going to have sex with would be someone I'd gotten to know first. I wouldn't lead with "hey, I'm bi!" but I'm sure in the context of talking about past relationships, people we like, etc. it would become clear to her.

I wonder if it makes a difference if you were the top or bottom?

Good follow-up! I'm in a monogamous LTR so last time I was dating I'd only been a top with guys. I've since had some bottoming experience, and sure why not let her know? It might even open up discussions about pegging ;)

Because some girls might think you are 'less of a man' if you were a bottom??

Yeah, that sort of heteronormative thinking is a huge turn off. There'd be no danger of me sleeping with a woman (or anyone) who held that opinion.

I used to always tell women after a few days of chatting, just to assure there was chemistry there. Often they oft out, some have questions and opt out, and a rare few have questions and stick around.....but only twice have they been open to exploring (which never happened for a variety of reasons). A month ago I met a woman online, she knew immediately, and it was a really amazing time to be completely open, which helped that she was quite turned on by the thought.

Sadly she ghosted a few weeks in, but I've since added "bisexual" to half my online profiles as a test. The ones that it's listed on have pretty much died, very little interest, if any. The ones without have resulted in numerous chats with women. Sadly I may have to go back to my prior practice, which feels very ingenuine, but damn, I'm really missing a woman's touch and presence in my life.
