I think the lack of James Charles helping them pick their clothes is the issue this year.

But even “fashionable” stuff now looks awful to me. Their YouTube videos constantly feature Louis Vuitton and Gucci and it is mostly baggy and shapeless.

There videos have been them bragging about how much money they have and it’s honestly tasteless at this point. When they use to make up challenges and shit is when there channel was booming. It’s so bland now

I think the loss of their father definitely had something to do with that. I definitely agree that the spending money thing and the showing off of the cars and the namebrand shopping definitely seems a bit pretentious and show off-ish(it wasn’t always. Ethan getting Grayson that Bronco was cute). And while it’s OK to spend money and be happy for the things that you bought showing that the work you’re doing is paying off, there’s a fine line between it being OK and then it being too much.

I think that how they used to talk about how money wasn’t that big of a deal to them and all that talk made them seem more relatable and more I don’t know, real and genuine? Now it definitely seems like they’ve thrown that out the window. I did like the video where they got to make over each other‘s rooms though. I liked that. That was cute. I still like the boys and all. They’re still hot. But I’ve definitely seen a change within them. Hope they change back. I miss the old days lol

I think that I watch because I like them. I find them relatable and yeah they’re hot. But like I said before their videos from before their father died they had a light to them. A youthfulness to them to get out and have fun and do wild things. Now it definitely feels like they are creatively stumped. And I can’t blame them. I mean they definitely suffered a huge loss. So I think that maybe they came back to soon? I mean I don’t know.

I definitely thought their first video back the walking around in the body paint was cute. The shopping with their mom I liked. I found it cute that even though they’re adults they still need mom. I found it very charming. I definitely think that it was kind of show offy of them taking her to an expensive store. It was nice that they bought her some expensive things. I know a lot of kids would love to do something like that for their parents if they can. But at the same time maybe they didn’t have to buy her too much expensive stuff. Maybe one gift each? But she was very relatable when it came to telling them that she didn’t feel comfortable with them doing that.

I think that’s why you see all these videos of them buying shit for each other, family, friends, etc. It’s easy content and a lot of younger audiences are impressed by flashing name brands. There’s something to that whole “money can’t buy happiness” adage though, because while they’ve spent thousands of dollars over their last handful of videos they both seem miserable. I definitely think a longer break and time with their family would do them some good. They genuinely seemed relieved to get out of LA last week and spend a weekend with their mom and sister in Georgia.

Yeah they’re definitely sweet boys. Anyone can tell lol. But they didn’t drop out of school. Public school yeah, but they actually did online schooling. And obviously with the way kids act nowadays and the bullying they went throughI can understand why they decided to leave public school. And I agree with you about them being socially awkward. I guess that because they were wild children that no one really wanted to be around them. And you’re right I definitely think that their creativity has been messing with them. And that’s kind of understandable. I think a lot of people think that being a YouTuber is easy( I thought so, but have learned different), when in the long run it probably is when you first start out and when you start becoming popular. I’m guessing that the creative ideas hits you and then stop and they build back up again and again and again and eventually it stops again.

I think that this weekend away at Coachella definitely let them kind of let loose a little bit. Their Snapchats seem to be a little bit more entertaining than the videos. That’s because they’re not really expected to do much on Snapchat and I think that they’re more comfortable on there. I don’t know how to explain it lol. But I do hope that things get better for them as time goes on. They definitely seem like their in a little bit of a funk which is understandable. At least we know judging by how they act and how they’re parents were that they aren’t going to go down a very dark and damaging path. I’m happy about that.
