Yes, I saw that. I'm downloading both, but it may have been one long video cut into 2. It happens sometimes.
I believe so. He lost his job as a result of the publicity and thought it would help his case if the took down the site. It's all there in the public domain if you look for it.
According to the info in the public domain, he was not prosecuted. It started as a civil dispute between the site owner and one of the models. The model wanted his video taken down and eventually threatened to sue the owner; the owner did so when the lawyers got involved and paid a large amount of money to settle the issue.
Then it became a reputational issue when the model's lawyers went to the media to publicise the site and the owner. The owner took the site down before the story ran, presumably to minimise the embarrassment to himself and to reduce the risk of other models suing.
There's no suggestion in the public domain material of the authorities being involved.
He did lose his job working for a local authority. Don't know what happened to him afterwards. I imagine he kept his head down and maybe changed his name or moved abroad.
Even that's murky tbh. Again according to the reporting of the story, he quit that job several years before the story went public. I would guess quitting was unrelated to the story, because he continued to be involved with the organisation in an unpaid voluntary role. I think it's unlikely he'd have been allowed to do that if he had quit under a cloud, or been encouraged to quit for that reason.
It's the unpaid voluntary role that he quit when the story went public. It's anyone's guess what he was doing to earn a wage at the time, and whether that was affected. Depends how public facing it was I guess. As you say he may just have kept his head down.
He was a school principal. That's why his reputation was a problem.
Yup--that's the part of this that stood out for me when it all went down. I forget where I watched or read the story about the site's demise, but whatever the information source, it indicated that he was a school principal by day and porn peddler by night.
