A couple of my favourite parts were the never ending party/travelling tower block & Marvin-makes-the-guard-robot-commit-suicide bit, which IIRC was written as filler for the radio series & was widely read for school English Oral exams, something I didn't find out until many years after I'd read that passage for my E.O. exam ... :redface:
