Also obviously old people are dying more from Covid, it’s not as if they’ve said a million times immunocompromised people are more susceptible. So idk what point you’re trying to make...its still a deadly virus and has killed A LOT of people. I work in healthcare and see so many covid patients, and it really does not matter how old or healthy you are, it affects people so differently. Idk why you’re so obsessed with not actively trying to curve this virus and trying to play it off like its nothing when its literally destabilized the world and killed plenty of people young and old. Of course people are going to be upset seeing rich people be careless and selfish all the while poorer folks are affected the most by the rising cases and closures of businesses. It's obvious what sort of campaign you're trying to whip up lol. You see "stupid and hypocritical"...I see an educated person that, without feeling the need to follow "The.Narrative" for his fanatical followers, undertook a private activity based on what he assessed the risk profile to be, and as we know, Covid spreads in confined poorly ventilated areas primarily, so the risk of spread out on the water, in the sun, is miniscule. That's not stupid - to me, that's smart.
As for the whole "hypocrisy" thing - well, kinda like Newsom, the dining California Governor too (the greatest hypocrites always seem to be of one political persuasion lol). I mean, one angle is to attack them for being "hypocritical"...the other angle is thinking, geez, when he isn't threatened by the media or public mobs, he undertakes a different set of actions to those he espouses - maybe that's what we're all thinking and doing? Maybe he's saying something otherwise for political gain? Rather than being hypocritical it's actually revealing about how people calmly assess risk and personal safety.
As for "obviously" more old people are dying, well the guy I was responding to seemed surprised that the median age of deaths is already higher than the actual usual life expectancy lol so not sure that's obvious to all. The fact you mention "it really does not matter how old or health you are" etc. etc. when of all illnesses in human existence Covid is pretty much THE most extreme in terms of affecting only particular ages is bizarre.
Yes it's deadly...but so are all respiratory illnesses. Like, do you guys not know the flu and colds etc knock off heaps of elderly each winter? It sucks...but that's life. What do you guys think people die from lol. Covid hasn't destabilised the world, mob-like pitch-fork wielding pearl-clutchers have that don't allow politicians to make INFORMED and SCIENTIFIC decisions but rather what "feels" right and what suits The.Narrative. And this is my point - the SETTLED SCIENCE by ALL western government agencies back when Covid first spread was that face masks DO NOT work - so, as an educated and informed person, I'm just questioning why that SETTLED SCIENCE changed all of a sudden in May lol when this was a coronavirus like many others that have been known to exist for decades.
Problem is, Covid and masks were whipped up by bored and race-baiting American mobs as political totems - so there is no point discussing the SCIENCE and facts with race-baiting, uneducated American mobs. It's all political lol.

Do you think that we would have any of the stuff we have today (laptops, software programs, medical equipment/robotics surgeries) if someone didn't conduct research investigating a field or a theory or a variable and just "settled" on a particular state of a field? Erm yeah science changes...but whether a mask helps with the spread of a respiratory illness is not really a new or novel question...this has been analysed for decades.
And it wasn't a small shift of degrees either...one second in March it was 'wearing a mask actually INCREASES your risk!!' and the next second in April it was 'Police will come to bash you up if you're pictured outside without one'. Forgive me for questioning whether something smells off with that whiplash change in advice by every government agency across the western world...

As for "correlational studies" it is well established now that Covid spreads indoors in poorly ventilated areas primarily - out on the water in the sun is a very low risk environment.
As for "addressing your other data", I'm not sure what data that is as I have comprehensively addressed all your points, but I do note you asked me for sources on median age of Covid deaths (below) and yet didn't respond lol.
