Gotta look back at this after the recent interviews and really question to Drake to consider harder how he feels like Dan Schneider had his back as the producer on set. Drake has commented that he would never take away from others’ experience with Dan, and does not question anyone else’s stories/accusations that have come to light, but I believe this scene existing is proof that Dan Schneider cared just as little for Drake’s mental health.

To elaborate, in the interview, Drake says that Schneider is the only producer/executive from the studio that called him when the Child Sexual Abuse case against Peck came out, even though Drake’s identity was sealed/anonymous. Schneider is said to have been sympathetic and have offered to “be there for him [Drake],” as a support. That trial occurred in the timeline of before the show “Drake & Josh,” and the aftermath would have been in the early season(s) of the show. There is no way this episode from later in the series wasn’t approved by Schneider to put Drake into this scenario where once again a trusted male friend surprised him into non-consensual homo-erotic content.

I don’t truly think the well being of any of the actors ever crossed Schneider’s mind, proven that he was fully aware of just what had happened to Drake and still thought it would be funny to put him in this situation on camera a few years later.

but ask yourself why wasnt dan on drake side of the court room when the trial began? dan at that time had TONS of power! Yet he choose not to show up for support of drake even though he was devasted about what happened to drake. I tend to lean towards Jennette story not drakes on the point of what drake said it was him his mother and his brother and then peck side was filled with the elite at that time with celebs
