Part of the reason why I think Dylan went into the military because the sugar daddies were done with him and he couldn't go back to regular life aka college because he got so use to the luxury life so he had to completely do an 180 in his life and went into the military as the last resort.

This is an excellent legal question. Many regulated professions love to discipline you under "conduct unbecoming" as a catchall. Hopefully someone versed in martial law can answer.
