Christ, can OF just post “Caveat Emptor” on their website, which has literally been around for thousands of years, so people stop complaining obsessively about their charges and purchases? Most people wouldn’t buy a small appliance without doing research, are they so blinded by lust they loose their minds, pull out their credit cards and sign up for a year of this shit. I personally have never paid a dime for his flaky ass, but there should be accountability with OF and Dylan with how things currently are. Think about it, if you go to buy an appliance at a major distributor, there's always a store/factory warranty along with an opportunity to insure your product. OF is a major distributor and should be held to a similar standard.

I'd say in the least, they need to put a posting rate where they would average in how often a creator had posted in the three months prior to this one. So with him as an example, he had posted once in December, nothing in January, and once in February.
That's .6 posts/month. You can't have .6 of a post, so the counter on his page when you go to subscribe will show 0 posts per month before you verify your payment.
They either do that for transparency or OF has creators sign a contract that they'll be releasing content consisting of ______ themed content this many times a month on a specific timeline. If a creator fails to do so, they'll be liable to have to provide refunds to subscribers.

I kinda agree with both of the last two posters. I think people expect too much from OF sometimes, and some are too quick to raise an enormous, entitled fuss just because a creator isn’t doing what they want. And indeed, some people are definitely making poor decisions based on previous experience.

But I also think OF could use a little more transparency and accountability in the platform. Specific contracts might be taking it a little too far, but I’d love to see more stats about what the creator posts, how often, and better labeling for what to expect in feed content and especially PPVs.

Instead of the whole contract thing which I do think is too much. A rating system at least would be a helpful addition.

Some people (like Dylan) who rarely post or only post lackluster content will naturally get a lower score/rating and therefore less traffic overall.

Which could in turn incentivize them to improve as well to (increase their rating) . Seems like a win win all around.
