Dude, don’t make it sound like it was an Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose situation, he wasn’t smuggled in on some fake athletic merits paid off by mommy and daddy. And I’m not a sports person, but being a scholar/athlete is a legitimate way to get into a school and good schools of higher education, even if the strength isn’t on the scholar part. Universities want diverse students bodies and this is one aspect of that, Dylan also had other merits besides being a state champion wrestler, including writing poetry and having gone to military school, those along with being gay added to the mix and made him an interesting candidate.

The bigger mystery is if he even participated in any matches and how welcoming or not the team was to him. Not that he didn’t add complications by having an new boyfriend living off campus where he would abscond to, loosing out on that freshman and sports team bonding that being firmly located in the dorms would have provided. There are reasons most schools require freshman to live in dorms, knowing that the social experience and learning is an important aspect of a college education.

Lol wtf is this rant? Like I said athletic ability is awesome but it doesn’t compare to those who got in on academic merit. While being an elite athlete is an accomplishment to be sure, I’m making a very specific distinction here. Especially because of the way he touts his Ivy League education as a way to feel superior to people. I feel it’s more likely he came in cocky as fuck on the team thinking he was hot shit and elite college teams, especially wrestlers (I come from the wrestling world) don’t take kindly to that grandious attitude. It’s more likely his teammates didn’t like his attitude based on this guys behavior in recent years

You obviously don't know how admissions to Ivy League (or any selective university) is done. You can't "just" be admitted on a sports platform. That can be your way to stand out, but your grades, SAT scores, etc still have to be at an appropriate level for a university like Columbia. Not necessarily top of the top, but someone with a B average or a 1200 on the SAT wouldn't slip through just because of sports. Neither did Dylan.

The most recent photos I saw had him with the PFC rank. Granted they could be old… where did you see the lack of PFC? Not a “you’re lying” comment - just wondering where you saw.
 
If he got a reduction in rank he would have have been on restriction with half months pay, times 2.

Which means he would be stuck on his base. Mustering multiple times, and depending on the reasoning cellphone taken.
He was just out last night clubbing. So I think he just posted pics without his tab on.

Absolutely. There are no athletic scholarships in the Ivy League. Being on a team like wrestling can help someone get in, maybe the equivalent of a boost on the SAT between 150-200 points. There may be a very few Columbia athletes who got 1200 but they would exceptionally rare and not wrestlers lol. I would be surprised if he had less than 1300 on the SAT and probably in the 1350-1450 (92-97 percentile range). The average at Columbia is just over 1500.
