Your weirdI thought you were a troll based on the Shawn Mendes thread. How can you be so blind when it comes to him? I admit we all have blind spots in our gaydar (reminds me of American Dad where every family member has one persona of Roger they don't recognize as him) but to me you sound like his shill. Because Shawn says he's straight right? In that case you said you lied about being bisexual too. It's ironic that here you are now trying to understand bisexuality. Do we have a full and honest grasp of anything psychological anyway? On top of that, the general population has only just started to discuss sexuality openly and even that in certain areas of certain countries. Dylan won't be the first or last to fake he's attracted to both the penis and vagina. 'Experts' give varying diagnosis to every murderer who claims insanity once they're caught. Just as the ineffective lie detector we don't have any device to physically prove someone's genuine sexuality. Put Dylan naked in a room and see if he gets a boner when shown female nudes?

^ Staying in the closet as a lesbian is so much easier in comparison at least physically you just have to lay there unlike our need to get erect. Psychologically of course females in general are less understood in this man's world. Maybe that's why even women who claim bisexuality are less scrutinized than men. Perhaps like her, I confess I haven't met anyone yet - bisexual or any other - who have convinced me they're attracted to both the male and female form - male pecs and female breasts / male and female butts / male and female facial features and body proportions. 'Romantic feelings' is even more vague because what exactly do we define as love? I thought I had feelings for my third cousin who was in the same class as me and the rest of the boys thought she was pretty and I remember one time after a family gathering I thought it would be my future to marry and have kids just like everyone I was seeing around me. I was already being sexually attracted to guys before that but romantic crushes started to develop only later and looking back any feelings towards her was just imagination. I was, am and will be 100% gay.

No, I thought I was. I didn’t understand that I could have sexual feelings for people of the opposite sex as well and not be bisexual. That that was a thing. And how that being so (unless I’m missing something) shouldn’t threaten the idea of bisexuality so much as inform the concept of general human sexuality.
I think our concepts of sexuality, maybe because we’re only now free as a society to form them freely, are unrefined and inaccurate. Freud was a revolution, yet now most of his ideas have been superseded by better ones, for the better of everyone. We respect him and the work, but we progress as well.

It’s a tip of the hat to human beings being able to find the whole spectrum of human genders attractive. When Mario Adrian goes on about how he’s in love with a Travis Bryant but not sexually, I’m not sure what he’s talking about. He’s said that he’s not physically attracted to men like he is women, but that his ‘romantic’ feelings are confusing him. ...Is he trying to make the fan ‘shipping real? Can’t he just love Travis as a friend? Can’t he just admire him physically, hell, even have sex if they want to take it there. But they’re not going to be sufficient for one another long-term.
They could try to be, and live lives of quiet desperation. Plenty of gay men and women have with their spouses in ages past, and some still today. But it’s unnecessary.
