Tbh I think that doc would be about how triggered and angry so many gay guys get when they happen upon a guy who likes guys but also likes women, sports, and/or the military - three pursuits which seem, in our culture, to symbolize masculinity more than any others.

Whether Dylan’s faking it or living his true life is beside the point. So many gays still just cannot accept other gays who do not reflect the stereotype like they do.
