He was always like that though, it's just he tried more to cover it up in the past. It's not that his persona got corrupted, it's just the facade shifted. Going right back to when the OutSports article first came out and he started posting on Datalounge, there were moments when the arrogance came through - especially when his poetry didn't get the praise he thought it deserved. Christ, he started a GoFundMe (or similar) for two grand to set up his YouTube channel. He's always been arrogant, always been a grifter.
