Not even a special edit. It's just a deleted scene. Which in 2026 is a fun thing to see and have to talk about again. Streaming killed all the awesome "extras" we used to get on DVD's. I appreciate the ability to stream but I had hopes 10-15 years ago it would evolve into the immersive experience discs gave us.that's cuz this is the extended edit
For streaming films, just release the full cut. You don't need it to worry about ratings or runtime. Not even a special edit. It's just a deleted scene. Sure. But sometimes you will look at deleted scenes and it's clear why they were removed. The film is better without them but it's fun seeing them and all the time and effort isn't wasted. My point was I wish all the extras like deleted scenes, making-of featurettes etc would have transitioned to streaming. For streaming films, just release the full cut. I get that, Netflix and Hulu have like trailers on streaming, so why not deleted scenes?Sure. But sometimes you will look at deleted scenes and it's clear why they were removed.
