No matter the large amount of missing evidence, people will still find a reason to assume and dream their fantasies... sad lol
I'm sure the guys who wished or thought that Joshua Bassett was gay were told they were being silly and that it was just wishful thinking as well.
Ethan is most likely straight but if we don't know for sure. The majority of gay actors young and old are very closeted. There is nothing wrong with wishful thinking.

I really wasn't going to go here because I believe Ethan is straight also but what evidence do we have to support the supposition that he is straight?
He says he's straight but then again most gay guys claim to be straight, he likes sports and is masculine but a lot of closeted guys do as well.
It's certainly not his dating history because he doesn't have one for the last I don't know how many years and based on his social media it doesn't seem that he has many or any female acquaintances that he hangs with.
Oh that's right he dated that Olivia chick, well that definitely means he's stra....err oh wait her last bf turned out to be gay. oops
