I find it very odd that they are completely writing out most of the main cast for season 3. I know they have to fit in the returning cast but it feels like they have cut the current cast for the sake of them.

nice picture!! But I think there's a chance we might see Elnor even if it's just a brief cameo. We don't know the actual plot for the final season of Picard except the fact the crew is getting back together for some reason to help their former captain.

Personally I hope the season takes place a few years after the last season and requires Picard to take command of the Enterprise again (hopefully its the Enterprise-F) and he needs his old crew back to solve the mission. By that point Elnor might be done at the Academy and he could take the Conn position on the bridge.
