Just finished watching GG reboot, i know im late but the series was not that bad. The trouple(especially wolfe) is my fav character so far but the acting is not so good especially evan's its very kaia gerber in AHS's bad. Hopefully season 2 he will be better

One of the issues about comparing GG versus the OG GG, is the limited number of episodes. The original series had 18 episodes to build more complex storylines.

That is certainly true the og gossip girl first season had 18 episodes compared to the 12 for the revival series. The Georgina sparks arc in season 1 was good.

true BUT imo the OG GG was much more immature and all the bitching got really annoying after a while... also they stretched their storylines to an extreme (rufus and lilly, dan and serena, blair and chuck,...) and they destroyed characters because they ran out of stories (georgina) while the reboot is a bit more "down to earth"/feels more real, even though the main characters (those two sisters, no idea what their names are) are boring AF and don't carry the show enough... all the supporting characters have better storylines than them and are the reason why people want season 2

I'm curious how it will continue - I've read that each season is a school semester... that means they won't finish school until season 4... I have no idea if this will go well and if it still seems realistic if Max graduates when he is already completely bald.. but we'll see
