I have had several long-term bromances (four to be precise), with guys that were straight (all now married with children, etc.). We never held hands or made out or anything like that - and certainly no sex of any kind. We were just close friends - worked out together, hung out a lot, were comfortable being naked around each other, shared personal thoughts with each other. Oddly enough, given that I was the bisexual one, not one time did I initiate the relationship. Every single one of them "pursued" me - would call me, come over to hang out, ask me to do things, etc. Two of them knew that I am bisexual and pursued the friendship, anyway. At the inception of each of those bromances, I find this pursuit quite odd (I'm slightly introverted). Over the course of time, however, I really enjoyed each of those relationships. In each case we drifted apart because one of us moved away. I remain in touch with two of the guys - albeit infrequently.
