Something that has happened three times in the past few weeks I find concerning. When I have an orgasm, my right nut rises so far it goes up and out of the scrotum and I can feel it between the top of the sac and pubic mound. I'm able to immediately coax it back into place and while there is no pain, one of the times there was a dull ache for at least 20-30 minutes afterwards. Two of these times was during missionary sex and I figured was caused by my balls slamming against my wife's pubic bone hard; but the other was during masturbation. In all these instances, I really felt like I came harder and the orgasm was more intense.

I looked it up and while all the information claims it's not an unheard of (if not very common) occurrence and there is nothing to worry about unless there is a lot of pain or one can't get the testicle to go back, but I still find it disconcerting. I should note that this did happen once in a blue moon when I was much younger and is consistent with the information that says this happens much more with younger men, so it's the fact that it is happening now when I'm both older (and hasn't happened for decades) and that it seems to be more frequent has to make me wonder.

So, how many guys out there has this happened to and how often? What are the circumstances it happens or happened and how easily did you rectify it, putting the nut back in place? Was there any pain or discomfort and either way, did you find it unsettling or disconcerting?

I'm also wondering it there is any connection between either the strength of orgasm or maybe even the fact that since I still have an uncorrected inguinal hernia and thus don't know what negatively related things are going on in that area.

Thoughts and comments?

Has happened to me several times. I know what you mean disconcerting. It usually happens when I have a really intense orgasm, and haven’t come in a few days. My balls get extra into it and go up in the me.

I went and saw my doctor, he said there was nothing wrong and it just happens to guys.

Honestly dude, I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Especially if it’s giving you enjoyable orgasms, I would say just enjoy the ride. But if it starts to hurt or keeps worrying you, talk to your doctor

Common with me. Sometimes during orgasm I swear both of my balls disappear into my body. Haven’t thought about whether/not it affects my orgasm. Another common occurrence is when I fit a leather ring around the base of my cock and under my balls. Sometimes a nut will pull itself out of the ring and go hiding…LOL

I have experienced this occasionally for as long as I remember and I push the testicle back down when it occurs. A doc assured me it was normal but I still find it annoying. I have had both right and left inguinal hernia repairs and it still happens so that apparently doesn't prevent it. I can't say for sure but I think it is always my right testicle which migrates upward.

Happens to me all the time, even when I’m not aroused. My balls have just always been held very high with a strong cremaster muscle reflex, and my scrotum tends to stay very tight instead of hanging loose. If I’m cold or extra horny they’re gone.

Doesn’t bother me at all anymore, used to make me self conscious until I realized it’s normal, even if not super common. And I’ve always thought it looked super hot when it happens to other guys Only occasionally do i feel discomfort, and if i do i just push them back down into my sack.

Mine do this quite often, however I don’t remember this before the vasectomy. (Worst thing I ever did)

Yes, this happens to me every now and then, and it has for as long as I can remember. It usually happens when I'm extra aroused, or highly aroused for a long time, both of which I consider to be good times. Both of my testicles disappear up inside my abdomen, sometimes one at a time, and sometimes both at once.

My guess is you have nothing to worry about, but if it causes you discomfort or pain, or if it's just worrying you, ask your doctor about it. Better to put your mind at ease than to continue worrying.

This has happened to me before. And like others have stated, it usually happens when I haven't cum in a while or when I'm having a long jerking sesh. The first time it happened to me it was a bit concerning, but it came down and doesn't happen often. So I have not made it an issue for myself anymore

It used to happen to me in my late teens and early 20s sometimes.
I know what you mean when you say it is disconcerting. At the time I was always so horny that I was wanking 2 or 3 times daily and it would happen when I had a really excessively, intense orgasm. My left ball, usually, would go up inside me but I would be able to move it back down into my scrotum.
As with your experience, I would feel a dull ache for about 30 minutes after it.

I didn't know this is so common
not knowing something is that common is what makes the internet a great thing to have--able to research it all and see that things happen more than you think and make us guys realize that we are so different from one another--if its doing it alot --get it removed--trust me--not getting it removed will cause other issues

I'm personally not affected. But thank you
