Exaggerating makes your dick smaller!

I see a lot of guys claiming to be a lot more than 9" for length and 6" for girth and often they look smaller than me or about the same. I`m 8.8" to 8.9" bonepressed and 5.7" midshaft. I know there are many who are bigger, but I also know I am big because girls have told me lots of times.
So why do so many lie and exaggerate? Are they insecure im what they have?
If you feel you have to say you are more than you are, does that not mean you are saying that what you actually have is small?
So if you exaggerate I guess you are feeling too small...

Just my thoughts, what are yours?

Kinda silly isn't it? I don't exaggerate it is what it is. I'm average and good with it. It's not just the meat that counts. Never been told I'm big and don't expect to hear that, but sometimes other sounds mean more. If you know what I mean. Just my opinion.

I agree. I find i annoying when men PM with claims of being huge only to find that they're about average (or smaller) . I'm not a size queen I'm good with average but dishonesty is a turn off. I've seen quite a few albums that have very misleading measurements and comparisons. Really I feel that lying about you size is like having bad hair plugs, everyone can tell it's fake and no one wants to fuck you because you're trying to hard.

Not many small on this site What I don`t get are why even the big and huge seem feel they have to exaggerate! And it also seems many can`t tell. Guys even get compliments on obvious photoshop, but I`m not really talking about the photoshoppers, those are another story. Peoples views are distorted. Some girl even guessed I was 12". I hated that, I am big and I don`t need to say I am some outlandish, crazy number.

I think a lot of us girls have a distorted view on size to begin with and seem to add a couple of inches. A lot of it is porn where stars claim to be bigger then they are to sell movies. A lot of it if men themselves who add an inch or to get laid. I would hazard to guess that is you showed a group of women an 8 incher they would probs guess 9 or 10.

The issue lies in confusion about size. While the average is about 5.5 inches nearly 80% of men are 6 inches or under. But we women have this conception that guy average about 6 and finding an 8 incher is about as common as finding a 4 incher. It's really not true. According to lifestyles condoms only 4.5% of guys are over 7.

This completely, even if you were honest it's just an abstract number to most women. If you've ever asked a woman to guess how big yours is you'll know they usually have no clue!

This is why I have never measured myself. I can tell that my length is average/above average and my girth is above average...but I dont want to pin a number to myself. I just go by the word thick. If I say big people expect long and wide. Maybe the way it is described attributes to the way it is perceived.

It's all about the famous Internet inches! And it's sad and disappointing.

I have a little fetish for measuring cock, and whenever a hung lad has let me measure claiming he's 8" or more, it's always embarrassing for him when I measure and it's 7 or 7.5 etc which is HUGE in real life. Just take a look at a ruler lol.

impossibleprince - I'm one of those 'huge' guys in the mid-7s range, which is why it drives me up the wall when SPHers go around saying "I'm only about average (just over 7 inches)" and such. There was a documentary where a guy had enlargement surgery because he thought women would never swoon over his 7x6 dick. So he went from a big, healthy, working dick to a scarred up thing with butt-fat injected all around it.
