Favorite 80s horror hot guys ever?

Andy from Friday the 13th Part III. The guy always doing hand stands.
oh yeah, that dude was cool.

masculine enough to be a baby daddy. (His girlfriend in the movie was pregnant). But naive enough to not know how to make love in a hammock.

worst part? When Jason killed him, he split him down the middle, his baby makers taking the blow first.

Is really him? Wow.

it was interesting how Freddy always attacked Joey via sexuality.

first, he used his horniness for the hot nurse to trap him in the dream world. Then he lured him worth shot women swimming nude in his waterbed. The theme was made explicit with Freddy’s quip as he killed him: “How’s this for a wet dream?”

have anymore of him from the photo shoot?

As goofy as the Nightmare films were most of the time, I always thought it was a shame that they didn’t delve deeply into deeper human fears. For example, castration anxiety is a real, primal, human fear… mostly only revealed subconsciously like in nightmares.

Joey would have been a perfect candidate for this sort of fear or threat, given they way the depicted his horniness as a weakness.

another example would be Dan from 4 and 5, the fear of a hot jock being tied down and emasculated by an accidental pregnancy.

ironically enough, the Friday the 13th movies, which had no pretensions of exploiting character’s psychological weaknesses, which had more leg-crossing deaths…

in 1, the main potential male hero ends up pinned to a door with many arrows through him—one prominently through his groin.

in 3, one boyfriend is sliced between the legs as he walks on his hands

in 4, a boyfriend is empaled through the groin after being tempted to cheat on his girlfriend.

Even tho the effects were cheesy, you don’t see that kind of anxiety-associated kills against male characters in horror these days.

Dan was killed in 5 (watch the uncensored movie, VHS only) with some strange behavior around his crotch, the whole idea of his death and his gf getting pregnant and raped in a nightmare has something sexual. It got an even more sexual (and homorotic) angle in part 7 (New Nightmare by Wes Craven)where Freddy's glove almost touches the main character's husband penis.
Anyway, read the original scenario to part 3 by Wes. There were many seriously bloody and moving scenes, mostly cut from the so-so Dream Warriors which came in cinemas. There is even an idea of a guy raped anally by Freddy's glove. Too much for the viewers then, I guess, that is why the original scenario had not made it. Pity because it is very interesting.
