I trim myself, and sometimes shave everything off when it's hot. You don't shave, wax or atleast trim, you don't get my face down there. Off limits. Plain and simple.

I am totally in favor of a trim job, just not a total shave job. This is just my opinion based on a number of observations and a bit of self-experience.
Shave jobs are not that healthy or attractive. I find those those ingrown pub hairs and razor rash are really distracting.
Back when I was an impressionable teen, there was this "gross" joke that went around about the girl who had the best feeling pussy in school. The guys were all chasing her. Finally one of her best girl friends got her tell her secret. She said all she had to do was just get the guy really ready, then pop the scabs off of her “snatch” and let the pus run so the guys would just slide right in.
Very early in life, I learned that there was generally some truth to humor and satire. That is what made it funny: a little bit of reality, mixed with a good bit of exaggeration. It was a typical high school “gross joke”, but since I was already gay to start with it didn’t take a lot to make me react negatively to seeing damaged skin in the pubic area.
Besides, if they should trim it all off, look at what you might miss when guys go freeballing in their button front Levis.

I generally leave my bush grow, just a bit of trimming now and then in order not to look too bushy but still natural. And I admit that a nice bush on a man drives me crazy.
How old is this thread. I didn't look. But since I just joined I suppose this is a good place to weigh in. I tend to just keep mine really trimmed. But I am not buying into the HEALTH aspect of hair protecting my buddy from a bug. First he is entered into a damp moist environment before the hair has a chance to protect. As far as razor bumps...sometimes that happens if you shave it all but are gone in a day or so. This is the reason I don't often shave it. If so I would the balls. What man or woman wants shaft hair in their mouth while they have their face there. Who wants to gag from that. That should only be caused by size. And if you are not into "scents" as in BO...well hair tends to hold it or help create it in my opinion. I am so self conscious about that issue I shower no less than twice a day. I serve people food off a clean plate. Another factor in the health issue. I shower a bunch. In the summer I shower before and after a jump in my pool and in the morning and evening before bed. That is at least 4 times daily.

There is one guy at my gym with a full bush. Oddly enough, he is young, probably only in his late 20’s, so he doesn’t remember the style of the 70’s. While he has a nice package overall, the unkempt hair kind of turns me off. Most guys trim, as I do, and some do a complete shave but I am not used to seeing it as wild as his is. I wouldn’t kick him out of bed for it, but I probably wouldn’t give him head either.
