Generally speaking, despite not having much experience with girls, I've noticed that the majority of young women, perhaps for fashion or for better hygiene and to have a best look, prefers shave completely the pubic hair. I realize that, especially in some periods of the year, it is best not to leave a "natural" look, but I have not understood yet why remove all pubic hair, returning to have a pre-puberty appearance. Certainly, men also probably affect with their preferences the girlfriends or wives. However, personally, I find a lot sexier than during shaving you eliminate all the excess pubic hair (for example groin, labia etc.), except those on the "Mons Venus" (called also "Mons pubis"). To better explain what I mean, I have attached an image very clear. I conclude by saying that, subject to the aesthetic choices that everyone is free to do, this my "thinking" can be seen like a provocation to open a serious discussion...

I'm not sure what the question is. I've sported full bush, half bush, shaved, landing strip, shaved lips and hair mound. I've had every shape and style possible. My husband has no preference thankfully.

Porn has helped perpetuate the shaved look because it allows you to see penetration more clearly on camera.

I shaved when it wasn't popular and now shaving is what everyone does I decided to sport a bush.

I do what I want regardless what any person, especially a guy that isn't my husband, thinks.

I'm confused what the question is too... based on the not having much experience with women comment, is the OP gay? Is he asking as a gay man? Or just as a straight man with not much experience?

I get a full Brazilian wax because it's more comfortable and I don't have to worry about anything while wearing a bikini. It also makes me feel more sexy in the bedroom. I don't do this for anyone else but myself... I have only had sex like 2 times in the last six months and the last time was November, but still am getting waxed.

The inbetween wax look isn't that sexy to me, but if a guy wants me he can deal with it. I'd get a landing strip or something if he wanted it.

And what exactly are we supposed to have a "serious discussion" about? People have talked about pubic grooming a lot on this site already. It wasn't really necessary for you to attach a picture, either. I'm fairly certain every single woman on here knows what it looks like if we shave, trim, or are completely natural.

I don't see why it is necessary for you to understand why miscellaneous women on the internet do the personal grooming that they do, or to elaborate/justify the reason behind it, either.

People do things for themselves, people do things for their partner(s), or simply for the hell of it. Ta dah......

Totally not sure what the question is either, but I'm with @rtg on this one. My man doesn't really care if I'm bare or fuzzy down there, so I do what I want with it. Usually for swimsuit season, I wax the whole area and stay that way all summer but I generally grow it all back out over the winter.

Btw I love @MickeyLee 's "jenny-fro" terminology. I might drop that one on my daughter tonight just to get her to give me an "eeeww Mom stop trying to be gross/cool" look!

Hygiene, "best not to have a natural look," and the concept of excess hair.

I might agree on "thinking."
Usually using quotation marks around non-quotes suggests an opposing meaning.

We are mammals. We have hair.

OK---for starters, I'm going to come out quite strongly in a stance against public pubic grooming! It's kinda like flossing @ the table, ok?

On a personal basis, my basement is spotless. Upstairs is a veritable mass of thick, shiny auburn foliage from wall to wall. Come spring, i'll maybe trim the part that's curling out over my belt...........
