Hey all, I've been curious to try a sauna for a while, and this week find myself in Manchester UK, for a few days with work, so I'm going to try Basement.

Keen to know a bit more about what to expect, I know it's towels only and anything goes-but that's it.

Once I've stripped off, do I wrap in a towel and then head into the facilities?

You can't stop yourself getting stiff and in my experience nobody minds if you walk around a men's only sex sauna and you're hard either under a towel, or openly flaunting it. I can't answer specifically about Basement, but I go to a sauna/spa in Hove called The Boiler Room, and I expect the etiquette is similar. I tend to go on naked days, so they don't even expect a towel to be wrapped.
