Is this your first job or are you still young with not much real work experience? What type of industry/business are you in?
If so, I would suggest working in the office at least part time, if not full time. Don’t do full remote yet. It’s important to develop relationships regardless but when you’re a newbie and learning the ropes, face to face is the best way to go.
That said, I’ve WFH for years. It works for my situation being that I live in a rural area, my industry readily supports it (cloud software with a lot of off shore resources in other countries I wouldn’t see any way), and I’ve been working for years and have plenty of experience.
WFH has its perks but there are disadvantages. If you are not structured and organized, you might need the work environment to be productive. Of course there is the socialization you might miss out on. It’s not the same over instant message or phone calls only. And I highly recommend that you have a dedicated work space at home. You have to physically be able to shut your workspace off from the living area so you have division between work and personal life. Or else, it is very easy to get into a rut… You never know when work ends and your personal life begins.
