Just came off as gay to me. He’s kinda cute.

As I skimmed your post, my brain autocompleted that to, "he is extracting the items [from his bag and for a moment we saw a Grindr logo on his home screen]." That would be some evidence for sure, but alas, that is not what happened lolol.

Personally I think the 'protection' joke and the way he delivered it is just generic-sauciness, but I could be wrong.
