Does anybody know what happened to forbiddenights.tumblr.com? one day it was just gone

Never saw it but sounds like it was fun. Happens all the time on tumblr when the page owner deletes the account. Enjoy it while you can.

I noticed it was gone too I was hoping they just changed their name

If you simply had them bookmarked its possible the blog changed its name but I doubt that's the case here.

The owner either deleted it or Tumblr shut it down. Considering the content, it may have exhausted Tumblr's tolerance for blogs that post pictures of other people that don't necessarily involve consent.
