Short foreskins are quite common in some regions of the world. I am starting to wonder if childhood care makes a difference. A foreskin that retracts early is less llikely to be stretched during erections, allowing penis to grow more than foreksin. A tight foreskin that lasts into teenage years will get stretched during boyhood eretions and remain long.
Short foreskins are common in japan and parts of asia. And I believe in switzerland they are also quite common. When I was young, the dictioonary from france I had defined the foreskin as partiually covering the head of the adult, fully covering in the boy.
Perhaps the "leave it alone" mantra for parents has resulted in generally longer foreksin in adults. I have noticed that the uncut generation in Québec raised with that philosophy tend to rarely have shorter foreskins.
