Given most of Frank's movies I'd make the comparison to cheese rather than wine.

Bare in mind that Frank Grillo has always been controversial even during his reign around 2007 to 2017 where is started out as a sex symbol turned action star. Everyone online and in person lusted over Frank.
I kid you not. This guy is considered untouchable for years now. Yes, he threw shade at Ana De Armas, John Cena (acting like he never knew him when he obviously knows him), Bebe Rexha (according to her fans), Tyler Hoechlin (I saw A STORY about him dissing Tyler recently (Check his IG story), Cam Gigandet (Kingdom), among other stars.
He also starred in the 2017 Pro China Propaganda Chinese Action movie called Wolf Warrior 2. That, right there, would have cancelled him because he was "complicit" to starring in a Propaganda movie against USA.
But we turn a blind eye because we revered and venerated him so badly. He is so gorgeous, talented, tough, sexy, and witty. That and he has a good PR Team.
Even if we want him to be held accountable, it's not gonna work. Cancelling him would take a lot of work.
