Well I don't really have all the info but iirc the dude who catfished Adam didn't really know who he was; they just sorta ran hooked this married dude using content from some woman and carried on a phony sexual relationship via Snapchats.
It went on for a long time given the hundreds of photos the guy had that Adam sent them. Personally I think Adam knew the person on the other end wasn't actually that chick in the videos; its hard to imagine he's dumb enough to be in this sordid affair with a catfish for so long and not know. I mean the dude was asking Adam for lots of specific videos and photos and one weakness a catfish has is the inability to do the same. You really think Adam went for months with this person and didn't once make a specific video or photo request? The one thing going for him actually falling for it though is that its not easy AFAIK to fish on Snapchat and maybe the catfish was hitting up this cam girl for specific requests to cover himself
I think Adam was just missing that sexual excitement in his relationship and this catfish showed up and sort of encouraged it so he played along because it excited him. The catfish lit that kinky spark inside him. Adam clealry got off to his sort of exhibitionism at work and the assplay and the catfish was his outlet for it. The fact that Adam seems to have had some sort of secret gay desires(as evident by him using plugs and a dildo, once where he would suck on it) could've also hinted to him knowing.

It's just a vibe but she seemed 100% on board. When the scandal dropped I think she took her chance to get out clean. It's hard to say. Ever since Jeremy said he's usually not wearing pants or underwear on stream I've been paying more close attention and although he has the cam where you can't see you can see him moving around and you can tell when he's putting on or taking off pants.
