so the short story of it is basically, someone told a friend about their experince with dan, they started talking when she was 17Y 11Mo, and then the conversation turned sexual later on but they never met up to do anything until she was 23, shortly after dan pretty much ghosted her (its important to note that this was happening from like 2014-2017-ish), that friend then went to rantgrumpts, a prominent anti-game grumps subreddit, and then accused dan on her behalf that he groomed her and etc.

later, after the talk reached its peak; a close friend of danny vouched that it would be totally out of character (saying that when they hung out, he would always tell her to bring a friend, because the age difference and it was always in a friendly manner and as a means to protect her more), and then a short time after, the girl who had the experience came forward and said she personally did not feel groomed and that she didn't ask for the post to be made, as well as the OP of the reddit post saying he shouldn't have mentioned the grooming or say he was being sexual with underage fans.

it should be known that 1) there were apparently other much older claims about dan being sleazy (like years ago but not in this vein of sleaziness), and 2) none of the grumps or their friends (afaik) made any comment on the accusation, and shortly after the recanting happened, arin/ross continued to interact on twitter and ross continued to react to the SMM playthrough on stream so, yea

I know this isn't a Game Grumps thread, but the whole Danny situation is so fucked.
