I liked the show but I didn't expect it to be the most watched one in the first half of 2023 on Netflix, that's a pleasant surprise.
I hope they can do 3-4 seasons, Gabriel would deserve it.

The creator Shawn Ryan mentioned in an interview that each new season would be a new story and cast. But there would be appearances from those that appeared in the first season. Gabriel will definitely be in Season 2, but for how much is the question and what will he be doing.

When did he say that? I've searched but can't find such a statement. Honestly that would be a stupid thing to do. But everything I've read still points to Gabriel being the main character going forward.

It's actually a great idea. I think having a new cast every season, but keeping some familiar faces like Gabriel around is the best way forward for the show. I do agree that Gabriel will still be the main character though. I don't see that changing.
They might want to try to imitate Fargo and they'll fail at that, I thought Gabriels character is on his next mission considering the ending scene.
A new cast implies that the main character is gone, besides we are literally in the Gabriel Basso thread.
So he stays but many of the people who participated in the first season won't show up again, and in a new chapter you need new characters, which is only logical...

That is an entirely untrustworthy source. In fact that whole page appears to be AI generated. Surely you aren't saying all this stuff based upon that alone, right?
Wrong. New cast doesn't mean the main character is gone. It can also mean numerous things with all characters replaced, but main one still standing. It's all semantics. I think the new Night agent will be primarily the focus, but we get a chance to see what Gabriel is doing outside of the United States. Bottom line it's going to be a very different Season 2.
That wasn't my source. I just remember reading an interview with Shawn Ryan that was posted on X. But this came up and so do with what you want with it. I was attempting to be helpful. But you can search the internet or X your damn self.

Anyway, it appears Gabriel is focusing on music again recently. Here is a pic of him and his band mate he just shared.

I remember during the renewal announcement earlier this year he mentioned possible Season 2 plans for the show. I forgot if it was an interview on X or some other outlet. Nothing set in stone, but the idea was for a new cast, with some faces returning others not.
No problem guy. Yes. He is indeed returning and hopefully more nude scenes.

Agreed! I really enjoyed his earlier performances in The Big C, Super 8, and The Kings of Summer, so it's nice to see him again.
I didn't even know Blake had a brother!
