I just found out he died last year. I am terribly upset by this (admittedly out of the loop) news. RIP
I discovered Gaspard like many of you through Hannibal. I was a teenager at the time and I remember it being one of my "crushes". I was struck by his astonishing beauty, especially his deep blue eyes. Growing up, I also learned to appreciate him as an actor. Just a few days ago I saw "Juste la fin du monde", what an amazing actor.
Last year in the spring I went to Paris for the first time and went to visit the "Pere lachaise" cemetery and discovered that he was buried there, so despite a bit of difficulty finding his grave I finally made it and stopped for a few minutes. I'm not religious but I wanted in my way to say just "thank you".

I still can't believe he died. Skiing can be such a dangerous activity.
