Mine's there, but doesn't identify who I really am. Dangerous for some when they use screen names that they use for e-mail in the real world, huh? However, chicagosam is also the name for some porn sites. I did not know that.:biggrin1:

An unexpectedly interesting result, Ian. I use headbang8 for almost all my user names online, and in the condensed version, I get 115 hits. But if you click the "results-omitted" link, Google generated over eleven-thousand hits.

Blog comments seem to generate quite a few. As do online reviews.

The major culprit seems to be LibraryThing. It's an online catalogue for book collections. It works out which members share what books, and with typical librarianly thoroughness, puts up a web page for each book, each author, each user, and all the cross-referenced permutations. Multiply that by the size of the average book collection, and eleven-thousand doesn't seem out of the question.

I didn't detect any LPSG links. Maybe I've lurked a little too much lately.

Yes Claire, but if you include the ones omitted because of similarities you'd get:

At the end of a listing of hits, Google has a link that says "In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 5 already displayed. If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included."

Clicking that link gives you more hits.

Most of the returns for my username are not me. I had no idea the username I chose was so popular amongst the World of Warcraft & bodybuilding crowd. Who knew? =) And yeah I don't like it that my pics pop up, but what can ya do?
