This isn’t really a surprise. The virgin thing always seemed suspicious. They should have him back on for a gay season of The Bachelor.

Yeah he stalked Cassie, out a tracker on her car, parked outside her parents house. She got a whole restraining order!
He's gay but why was he so obsessed with Cassie? Really weird.
My guess is he was desperate to keep up the facade of being straight, so he didn’t want her to leave him.
Well he’s joining a whole new world. Much like Caitlyn Jenner. Here’s hoping there’s development in his ideologies how that’s he’s on the other side of shit. Then again. He’s still hot, white and prob a top, so his strife will be limited to just the conservative side of bachelor fans coming at him I think. So he may not have much of a vested interest to evolve.
who knows he may get Milo Yiannopoulous to come back to the gay side and they can be conservative rubbish together if he doesn’t wanna change.

I never watched the show but I find it interesting that he won the bachelor over the actual straight men on the show, he must have went out of his way to woo Cassie.
Was his relationship with Cassie a real romantic, sexual one or was it a roommate/friends situation.
He was a virgin when he went on the Bachelor. Wonder if he lost his virginity with Cassie...what do you think?

I asked myself the same questions and then sort of replayed the timeline.
my best guess is that he did what he had to do to “prove” his heterosexuality to himself by having sex with Cassie... and that brought on remorse and guilt that he couldn’t escape and judging by his character a confession to her that he was gay, which probably led to the erratic behavior to reconcile his relationship with her in fear that he would be outed by her, and eventually forced him to be honest with the world.
