hairs growing in the shaft look kind of weird. shave the shaft to the base every other day or when i notice growth. i use a number 3 comb on the trimmer for the rest. totally bald everywhere is not natural but trimming to a descent lenght is good and looks nice.

I agree! Maybe it's a generational thing, but when I was growing up, guys were proud of having a nice "man bush." It was seen as a badge of manhood. Not a fan of the shaved look.
