Harrison Osterfield

He was in a TV show, no? How is his acting?

The Irregulars, yes. Following Sherlock Holmes' little gang of allied street urchins as they investigate the supernatural around Old London Town.

Harrison played posh boy Leopold, secretly the haemophiliac son of Queen Victoria who inadvertently gets caught up with the gang and falls in love with one of them.

The acting was perfectly serviceable. Nothing to win any Oscars, but respectable. Harrison did not embarrass himself. And of course he got his shirt off more than once. I imagine that must have been in the contract.

I do wonder what goes through the minds of advertising executives when they come up with things like this… “let’s put a boy in a shirtless blouse in the Yorkshire Moors on a winter morning holding a bottle of rum.” There, totally natural!

It’s not supposed to look natural it’s supposed to get your attention.
