Even if he did, we now know that the Olympics, at least in the U.S., doesn't pay crap. I think you only get like $32,000 for a gold metal, and the depending on the sport, that wouldn't even cover the cost of an elite coach. The only way to make real money is through endorsement deals (like Simone Biles and the like). If you're not elite (at the top of your sport), you have to have a regular 9-to-5. They have degrees in all kinds of stuff.
