Henry Cavill

Im halfway through episode 3. The multiple timelines is confusing me
you'll understand once u get to episode 7 and 8 but basically:

yennefer's story is set thousand years ago, like the *past* past.

geralt's story is set in the past, thousands of years after yennefers.

ciri's story is set in the present.

To be fair maybe I'm just stupid but the last two episodes didn't really make it any clearer to me

JFC, seriously? i haven’t gotten there and no spoilers pls but if Ciri is out looking for Geralt then his story can’t be THAT far in the past. Guess I’ll find out.

witchers age differently, geralt was around when ciri's mother was still alive.

I figured before episode 8 about the multiple timelines. What I was curious about was the amount of time that had past. Yennifer mentions being alive for more than a few lifetimes or something like that. They should have included some kind of indication of time.

Almost everyone I talked to about The Witcher had the same issues regarding timelines. It was the only thing that bothered me other than the terrible CGI dragon. GoT's CGI team changed the game when it comes to dragons, in particular, so other shows really need to step it up.

I watched all the episodes. The first one is bad, very bad. I was so disappointed, waited so long for this show. The others are ok. Just a popcorn entertainment, nothing to contemplate. The script, CGI, editing, and direction are bad. Though, I love Yennefer's storyline (the origin).

like i said before GoT's dragons came on when the show started getting mainstream, and besides they look ugly. smaug in the hobbit is the best looking dragon imo.

I loved those dragons

watched Man from U.N.C.L.E. last night. I enjoyed his womanizing character. charming af. wish we got to see the actual scenes where he hooks up with 2 different women. not even deleted scenes on the Blu-ray, damn Guy Ritchie :(
That scene where he chatted up the chambermaid was the cringiest thing. Glad you liked it but I thought he was awful in that film. I would rather the characters got switched and the actors played the other guy

i can’t stand Arm & hammer so I’d rather him play Russian than Cavill. boy does a damn fine American accent, too

say it for the people in the back!! the dragon looked like one of those late 90's early 2000's tv dragons and I know they got a better budget than that. No bueno.

As much as I wanted to love the show I could not bring myself to until we got to that battle.

But I had no idea what was happening by the time we got to that fight.

I did not understand that at all tbh

Yennefer's storyline is horrible, compared with the novels.
yennefer didn't have an origins storyline in the books... her history was only hinted at, but ok. thank you for flexing the fact that you didnt even read the books and are just here to blindly hate because you didn't get your henry frontal nudes.

Apparently you have not read the books at all.
And you have just told us that you support the fake feminism presented in the show instead of the true feminism presented in the books.
You also attack true feminism supporters by saying they care about nothing but Henry's dick. You must apologize to them.
