Nice! I've been there but it was years ago and the water level was way low too which gives a nice l-o-n-g look opportunity at those coming out of the water. Thanks for posting!
i went there on friday the 16th
besides the drive it was great as soon as i got into the tree line i dropped my shorts and t shirt looked around from the path and said what the heck took the steps #3 and then went into billy goat mode once i found a semi smooth rock set my shorts and towel down and walked into the water
1st time being nude outside of lockerroom it was a rush
i did have a major hiding effect going on dick proceeded to ggett more small than normal but oh well i showed and was sawn
will be going again

I recommend buying a beach umbrella. One you trek down to the water you can pitch your tent (giggity) and chill. No need to walk back up to find shady spots. Wife and I will probably be heading out tomorrow Saturday (8/24). We're regulars there as well, or have been granted the honorific by the real swinger regulars.
The low water levels have forced everyone (couples, casual visitors) to congregate near the entrance (first bathroom), even the regulars at Radio Rock (second bathroom). Look for the boats tired up near the entrance as a good place to set up shop. Gay folks are still tied up with their boats at the far end of the park.
There's still plenty of action despite the low water levels. Fourth of July weekend there were some mind-blowing titties out there. But need to get a sighting of the horse hung guy that's supposed to hang out there. AustinPA has posted about this monster sighting in the "Biggest Soft Ones" threads. Wife would like to get a picture or two with him but he's harder to find than Sasquatch.

I mean, it's 15 dollars in and they just stand around under the trees being creepy. Weird.
So the answer clearly is, yes, clothing is optional. There was a bunch of college students there that all wore swim suits.

I reckon that if you are going to go nude you may as well go somewhere where nudity is compulsory... otherwise you may find the other people in swimming costumes offputting. When everyone is nude you are on equal terms but if some are in clothed and you are nervous then it may make it even harder to strip.
