Think u find no selling happens in wwe aswell jus look at the fiend, hulk hogan, undertaker or ultimate warrior. No selling is a character trait applied to help people get over as tough or hard or whatever

Yes I know the problem is people are calling out WWE for it, saying how WWE sucks because of it, but are weirdly are fine and even find it "genius" when it's AEW (I'm not talking people posters in here, but wrestling fans in general). That's the double standard that I'm calling out here.

Either way, I didn't like that, and despite I like Hook, I don't find his matches THAT impressive so far. It was great and he has a ton of charisma for someone who is "mute", but the way people hyped him as if he was the second coming of Jesus in wrestling was utterly cringeworthy to me.

Yh im not a fan of the whole wwe or aew bias end of the day i enjoy both so dont need to choose both have pros and cons .

I think they done a good job making hook look like a star. He certainly displaying some natural talent but i do think the way they have packaged him has generated all the hype and for him to be more than competent in the ring doesnt dismiss the hype. However i hold out judgement till he got couple years in and see where hype is at then . Will stille very much enjoy him manhandling men on aew haha

Reading tweets from those at the arena for the Rampage tapings. Hook goes to 3-0 as he beats Aaron Solo on Rampage Friday night. Unfortunately another bad injury too... Jake Atlas. This was just minutes after another wrestler snapped his arm on live TV. Wish this generation could tell a story better without having to be stuntmen. The leaps out of the ring are a yawn now because they happen every match.
