We stayed in some very nice five-star prisons. And I call them prisons, because we rarely ventured outside. I could have easily walked down the street for exercise, but I would have had a handler or two.
I would love to be able to take a walk outside, down the street, or even just around the property of a hotel I've stayed at. At regular properties, no matter how upscale that isn't going to happen. With the exception of the properties that are clothing optional, I couldn't possibly do that and its never going to happen. Even then it can be a lot of problems if not at that moment, certainly later on. And among clothing optional properties I've visited, those properties are the one's where I can actually use the pool or spa or better still an adjacent beach.
But I still have to be very careful and mindful of my surroundings and the people....just because they will travel and pay their money to visit and upscale resort hotel that is clothing optional and allows nudity, and they are nude too, doesn't mean they are sane and certainly doesn't mean they will be polite or respectful of others.
Over the years I've stayed in many hotels, and I prefer the "5 star", though over those same years, many of them are not what they claim to be. Some I would put at more 3 or 4 star compared to what some newer properties have to offer. Actually, the suite/room is all I care about. When I'm staying at a property that is not clothing optional, I can't use the pool, a spa, or any gym, so those "amenities" are simply unavailable to me. I would never go to that hotel's restaurant during their prime or busy times, and probably not at all under and circumstances.
The prime reason I use the most upscale I can find, is the security issue. I don't often get followers or stalkers knocking on my hotel room door. But it has happened. And almost nothing I can say through the door will cause them to leave without security or the threat of calling the police. And often the best properties have parking garage security as well.
The best ones I've found are generally in Las Vegas, but again, I can't use those amenities or the adjacent casino properties, so often it's not possible to enjoy all I am paying for. Oh well.
... I mean I enjoy it but that eats up a lot of sleep time. Lol It's no fun trying to sleep in the air because your raging hard on is working like a car jack xD.
