First of all, I really appreciate all contributions but don't bother commenting things about be yourself or accept who you are. This is not what I'm looking for

So... I think I have problems with being too feminine for other boys find attractive. Not that I am a femboy or twinkish body...

Maybe it's my voice or the way I express myself. Sadly most of guys are into masculine guys around here so I'm willing to change things to have better chances

I'm not sure on what I'm expecting... So maybe if anyone here had this problem once and did something about it pls share your experience

Maybe this feminine thing is not about voice or mannerisms but posture, confidence, presence idk

The only thing I can think of is if you feel that you are feminine, then observe some of your masculine friends and see how they carry themselves. Mimic their mannerisms and see if you find some you are comfortable with.

If you are not confident in yourself try building your confidence. Stand up straight chest out, stomach in. Legs shoulder width apart.

Perhaps what you perceive as being feminine isn't. Masculinity is in the eye of the beholder. I'd start by taking inventory of myself and find things that I can improve on. There's always room for self improvement.

Perhaps it's not so much how you act as what you are saying when interacting with others. Are you critical or judgmental of others? Sometimes that's a big turn off to perspective hook ups. It could be that maybe they feel you are out of their reach, or league. Maybe they think you're so much better looking than them that you wouldn't be interested in them. Maybe you dress better?

It could be any number of reasons. That's why it's best to take inventory of yourself. I'd start with that and go from there. Good luck

Sage advice. Gj816.

Think of it as an acting role. Become the character you want to present, and practice those mannerisms and qualities.

Just try to stay in character until it becomes ingrained in you. Work with what and how you want to be seen in private, then apply that outside.

Working on self image is tough. I think the key thing here is that you think on what you want for yourself - not changing things for other people. If we try to match what we think someone else wants, you’ll always be chasing moving targets. Just be kind to yourself as you think about change. I do think “masculine” is different for everyone. You may want to start be evaluating what you believe to be masc. I’m certainly not the most masc guy out there (I work in music/theatre and the performing arts. I love the new Beyoncé album and can’t throw a football to save my life. I don’t have any chest hair and can’t grow a beard, even tho I wish I could). But I’m confident and comfortable in conversation. I make jokes and people laugh. I assert my opinion and hold my ground but am open to hearing other ideas (no long as they aren’t factually wrong or just plain bonkers). I tend to believe that if you identify as a man, then you are masculine. If you want to change aspects of yourself, do it for you. :)

I sometimes tend to be effeminate
Other times not..
I noticed when i practice sports somehoe my muscles and postures are more tense .. i behave more “manly”
But it doesn t bother me anymore, i learnt to be confident about who i am… and i noticed that it impacted how others also see me
