Just wanted to add my appreciation of HRVY. Needless to say he is one stunning young man but from Strictly he also seems to be a really lovely person. Very sweet and humble and he is not afraid to cry and show and show his emotions which is a good thing

Noticed the tabloids are still running with the Maisie/HRVY rumour claiming a kiss after the show on Saturday. I don't see it myself and I am sure Maisie said in a interview quite bluntly that she did not see him as a boyfriend but a really good friend. I might be wrong HRVY seems a little too reserved for Maisie who at her age is probably for someone with a bit more personality and more extrovert

Agreed, I think he won over a lot of ppl.
I wonder how much his followers went up on socials cause of the show. Does anyone know?

Don't know myself suspect it was not a huge amount. He had a large following before the show amongst his target audience but he might have picked a few more amongst older people new to him. He announced dates for a tour in October 21 so he would be hoping it helps him sell tickets and also more people listening to his music

He was not well known in the UK before Strictly but that has now changed. I saw an article which suggested TV companies will be keen to get him board for shows aimed at young people (he has done presenting) and I think we could see him guesting on TV shows at least until he can continue his music career

I found about him this year when he announced his album in white boxers (we all know which picture is that) and it went viral on twitter, I haven't heard of him before, but someone was saying that he was support act for Little Mix tour in 2013 or 2014 and that he presented children game show or something. He deserves the world though, really seems like a nice honest guy, hope this new fame doesn't screw him over

I suspect Covid-19 is probably what will potentially damage his career the most. He music career has paused at just the time when it was at his peak and could have taken off even further. Music aimed at teenager girls is very fickle and there is danger when everything returns to normal which might not be until autumn 21 they may have moved onto something else. He is super talented however and I sure he will still do well in music and other areas like TV and theatre

The risk of doing a show like Strictly is that is now on the radar of the tabloids who will be watching his social media activities closely . Post Strictly I think he will need to a little more careful about what he uploads and says. I hope this won't mean we don't get to see him being open, fun and cheeky and we end up with sanitised dull content

Yeah! The whole story was that his heating broke and he posted two or three stories about how he's feeling cold, especially in his feet, and then people start to annoy him why he's shirtless all the time then. Who goes to complain that he's shirtless anyway :joy: That also shows what a sweet guy he is, brushing it off and making a cute video out of it, just playing around instead of getting angry and defensing like most of the guys would :)
