A very long time ago, I worked for the county health services. Every week, we'd get the more serious cases that couldn't be handled at one of the detention centers. I got to see quite a few naked prisoners of every age, race and body type. I'd say about half were pretty big flaccid. I don't think that jails are just full of big dick prisoners. It might just be that the portion of prisoners who came through our ward were well endowed.

The original poster's friend might simply be noticing the big ones more often than the average size guys.
 
My Dad was in prison for a while (a couple of times) when I was growing up.

He knows I sleep with men and says that in prison, a lot of his mates did too just to see them through while there was no access to women (although he himself didn't). It's kinda helped him come to terms with my sex life, although I don't do it because of a lack of women. Most of the time.
 
I've been locked up and these stories that have been posted are bullshit. They are erotica not real life, especially these days. I am white, 5'6, 135 lbs and was fine. As long as you are willing to fight and stand up for yourself you will be fine. You just have to know how to act, be street-smart not a punk. Get loud and violent if you need to. Show people you're not a bitch. I have other friends who have done time who were softer than me and they were also fine. There are enough people in there who give it up that nobody has to take it. Maybe if you are an idiot and get yourself in a fucked up situation or maybe in some real hard maximum security state prisons, but from what I've seen it's not as bad as TV and shit make it out to be. Also, most places have single-occupancy show stalls so that is bullshit too.

TV in the UK this week showed a documentary about life in one of the jails in London. As with many prisons, drugs are a problem. Dealing is done using mobile phones (cell phones) which prisoners are not supposed to have. There are frequent checks using metal detectors to find the inmates who have a phone secreted up their arse! Honestly...
 
I read this thread and the OP slowly developed his story from a comment by a friend in prison to the point where the friend was being somewhat aroused by the big dicks of his fellow prisoners. It smacked of gay erotica to me. I also found it especially telling that once he was challenged by one of the posts for having put up a picture of his dick from Circle Jerk Boys we never heard from him again. I had to laugh at the response of one of the posts where they thought it was some type of conspiracy to lock up big dicked men. Prisons have some sort of hold on the gay/bi mind that they accept the erotica as truth.

And don't they often segregate gay prisoners so they aren't raped by the other guys? I've even heard that smaller straight guys will claim to be gay so they will be put in with the gay guys instead of general population where they will be raped.

I don't know about all the posters on this thread, but I have a lot of confidence in Nick8 and that he's not making anything up. Would like more specifics about what he heard around him though.....

Again I don't know that much about it, but I've read that the guys that get raped are the ones that aren't willing to kill or be killed. What a choice.

Yeah, I wondered about that too. How would the judge/jury know the defendant was hung?? And 12 people are seriously going to vote to convict based on dick size? Any gay men on the jury would vote for acquittal! LOL

It's not just prisons but all totally male environments -- prison, military, locker rooms, boarding schools, college dorms, frat houses, guys on oil rigs, etc etc etc.

(Yes I know the military and college dorms have women now)
