Hunter Doohan

In the rusian-language social network VK, everyone is surprised that Hunter is gay. They write that he "doesn't look gay"
Scientifically looks of course don't have anything to do with it.

But if looks had something to do with it I'd think that he looks gay, like my gaydar would think it, on the other hand it's easy to say it when you know it.

Like um, Chris Pratt, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman or Johnny Depp, they all don't look gay to me.

Hunter looks like a carefully constructed divine twink.

Chris Evans and Cumberbatch both look very gay to me (even knowing they're not), especially Evans.
But when it comes to Hunter, guuurl, these Russians should look at their sports people (men and women) ASAP. Many of them have doppelgangers that could be found in Pride events.

Its good both for Hunter and Russians. Hunter played the role very convincingly well. And Russians are nicely appreciate what Hunter did through the series. Both win.

I didn’t assume he was gay when watching the show at all but equally I wasn’t overly surprised when I found his Instagram & saw that he was!
Basically same, found out he was gay from this very thread after discovering him thru Wednesday

Funnily enough, in the first season of Your Honor (which he was otherwise great in, btw), his character wasn’t at all gay, but seemed like it to me and my bf when we watched it. I mean, we were incredulous that the character was supposed to be straight and having an affair with his teacher, and THEN knocking up the gangster’s daughter. When he was in bed with the teacher in the first episode we both burst out laughing because it seemed so absurd. We called him “the twink son”.

Yeah, your gaydar is completely different to mine, I didn't assume he was like "gay" but if I had to guess at the time I would've said he was gay.

My other crush is Dylan Minnette, with him I instantly knew he wasn't gay, first saw him on 13 Reasons Why.

But when it came to Hunter I had that vibe that he wasn't straight, his character in "Your Honor" was way too soft too, no offense I'm 23 myself and totally pro LGBTQ, but even his character seemed weak and soft, not vulnerable but that sent vibes.

And it vibed way too much with the actor.

So gay people are weak and soft?
