My hands are all hyperextended. I'm a very skinny boy, 50kg & 175cm (111lbs & 5'7). I want to try workout to at least reach an ideal weight. I never went to the gym either because I'm somewhat self-conscious about my hands. Will my condition harm me in any way ? Also, a guide to gain weight would be helpful, thank you.

Are your elbows the only hyper mobile are you have? Has it been going on a long time?

I have some hypermobile joints. I make sure that my stance is very stable when I use them. I also default to more moves, less resistance/weight.

FWIW, I can put my arms in that same position and my elbows aren’t hypermobile.

It's been like that since as long as I can remember even tho I never had any accident. I went to bootcamp at high school and that's when they found I have abnormal elbow.

Then keep an eye on any odd feeling as you use weights. Stretching out ligaments and tendons is not a great idea, as they don’t go back.
Start with lighter weights and more reps.
