I fucking hate money already. I'm sick of people judging each other based on how much they make, or what they buy with the shit. I'm SICK of people basing relationships and sex on monetary gain/social status. I know damn well I'm not the only person who doesn't give a fuck about the money, and who truly is interested in a sincere connection with another human being (no matter their race, religion, or 'status' in society)

Of course people want to be with someone who is motivated and willing to contribute to the relationship in all aspects, including financial situations.. but if hard times come in the money dept. that doesn't mean it's time to move on to the next person with some cash. Notice I'm using the word person? It goes both ways here.

I think in a healthy relationship the work and responsibilities should be equally divided to suit the individual couple. Not all people see things the same way, so you just have to find someone compatible to what you find to be a good relationship. TO EACH THEIR OWN.

No question here, just had to get that off my chest.

You are just mad and carrying those feelings from the other thread about white women....relationships should not be based around money but everyone needs to contribute to society and take responsibility for themselves.

You're right. That's why I had to get it off my chest. I agree with you 100%

I'll take yours if you don't want it. :yup:

Just so you know, the racist thread that I was just on isn't the only of it's kind on this website. These feelings have been building up for awhile.

Tell me about it haha

I went in that thread because of the title but didn't read the whole post because I could tell that dude doesn't have a clue.

Yeah I can't tell if he's just trolling to piss people off or if he's really that ignorant. You have some lovely pics, I took a peek hehe

Very well said and couldn't agree more .

I'm going to have to disagree with you.

I think I read somewhere that $50k + good benefits is the point where once you make more you quality of life doesn't improve, but any less and you start to suffer.

I live in a run down trailer that's literally falling apart, I live paycheck to paycheck, and if I didn't make tips I'd probably go hungry a day or 2 between paychecks, but you know what? I'm happy with my existence. It just depends on the company you keep and never letting your situation force you to loose faith in yourself. I just keep working, and keep my head up.

Are you saying those people who are satisfied with their lives making less than 50k per year in third world countries are faking their happiness to survey's aimed of discovering the happiest places on earth ?

I think Costa Rica, Nigeria etc all places where people are extremely happy without making much.

That's a good point.

I love money. I value money above just about anything.

Money allows me to do things and buy stuff. Doing things and buying stuff makes me happy.

Without money, I couldn't have bought a house, bought my beautiful boat, allow me to drive my great truck, buy my big TV, etc.

It really pisses me off how much of my hard earned money is taken by the evil government and given to people who sit at home all day watching TV. I work to support myself, I shouldn't have to support anyone else. Far too much of my money goes to taxes.....over 30%.....and I don't even pay social security. It's a crime.

It's for the USA.

Until you find yourself needing government then you will be wishing rich people get taxed higher...If you are broke and can't find employment whynot watch some TV ? by watching you actually keep a show on TV and people employed who are then taxed and you get that money back in support. :biggrin1:

You love money because you have enough to buy a bunch of meaningless bullshit that makes you feel happy while you're using it. What happens if the motor on that boat/car stops working and your house burns down? What do you have left? If you don't have a meaningful relationship (not just sexual, even just with friends/family) your money is pointless. I see where you're coming from though. It's good to see hard working people who are willing to earn their keep, but to put money above all else, shallow to me.
