I am sorry to hear that. Don't rake yourself over coals for it. When you have a kid all you want to do is what doctors say is best even if goes against your better judgement. We're programmed to do that. If he has issues now you may want to ever-so-gently/surreptitiously/barely find a way for him to discover that there is foreskin restoration. Even if he doesn't want to restore completely the same techniques can be used to loosen a very tight/painful circumcision.

What's done is done. You can't take back the past. You can work to help make his future better though. I don't presume to know your relationship with him but maybe letting him know about restoration and supporting him if he chooses to do so is a way to help heal you both.
