I’m almost always a bottom. I’ve topped a total of 5 times, and with my size, my lack of experience is probably why I don’t quite know what to do and how to improve. I can’t get too deep without it hurting or being uncomfortable when I try, but I feel it’s mostly because I don’t know how to properly do it. I’m about 9” and it’s hard for people to handle that when I don’t know what I’m doing and how much is too much or how little is too little. I know I can’t get to the base with my technique and it’s annoying.
